Kris Snyder is a fourth generation harper, arranger, composer and teacher. After being given her great grandmother’s Clark harp, she embraced the family tradition as a profession and now has over 27 years of musical experience.
She is the Director of the lever harp camp called Harp Quest, held every year in South central Pennsylvania and she was the Director of The Muses, York County’s premier harp ensemble. Ms. Snyder is also sole proprietor of Hands to Harps, providing harp music for any occasion located in the mid-Atlantic region. Kris performs her extensive repertoire list for a wide variety of venues and has been featured repeatedly at “First Night York”. She is currently taking a break from performing weekly at Glen Rock Mill Inn (please call 717. 235-5918 to inquire when she is returning).
Kris is also a Certified Music Practitioner® and currently works with the elderly, ill and dying, providing live harp music to soothe and heal.
